In Reno Gavin Smith and I discussed a tournament series at a casino in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We also talked a lot about motorcycles and decided that it would be fun to take a ride up there and back.

Sweet. Fast forward to the week of the 25k, I get completely drained, and go to Coachella by myself.

Saturday afternoon I am wandering around Coachella and go check out the outdoor ampitheatre and find out that Dwight Yokum is playing. A little out of place I thought, but I was wearing button snaps so in I went. I randomly ended up sitting next to a girl named Kristyn who is from Western Australia and currently residing in Canada who had ended up at Coachella by herself as well. We became friends.
